On a seemingly ordinary Friday evening in 1997, Vanessa Campbell is back in her native city of Liverpool celebrating the release of their first book of poems which has been a massive success. But the unthinkable happens when she is brutally murdered.

All paths lead to Dinesh Sharma, a medical student of Indianheritage who was there that night. Sefor Amimbola, his lawyer struggles to know for sure what has happened, the question on everyone’s mind, is this racial injustice or a cold blooded killer?

The truth isn’t always so obvious.
