[short_description]
As well as learning about the construction of the tunnel, you will walk round the unique Grade II listed Art Deco George's Dock Building to visit the original control room, see giant ventilation fans in action and go down to watch the traffic in the tunnel, deep below the city streets.

Our reception area will be undergoing a major refurbishment in the New Year. For this reason there will be no tours operating from the 6th January until the 15th February 2025. We will also need to cancel tours on the 17th and 19th December due to the pre-works required. This means our normal museum exhibition space will be much reduced from then until we close in the New Year.
