Hocus Pocus Workshops

Comic Con Liverpool will feature our Workshop Activity Zone, which has been hugely popular at our other events across the UK since its debut at NEC Birmingham for Comic Con Midlands last year.

Across the whole weekend, you’ll find a variety of hands-on creative workshops, brought to you by the Hocus Pocus Team. All workshops run on both days, and any items made can be collected on the day to take home.

Important information:
•    Workshop timings are the same on both days
•    A General Admission ticket is required to take part
•    All children must be accompanied by an adult
•    Aprons are provided, as some activities can get a little messy
•    Refunds cannot be given under any circumstances
•    All participants must check in at least 5 minutes before the workshop start time
•    Late arrivals may have their place released to another participant

🧚 Craft a Magical Fairy Door
Have you ever wondered how fairies enter our realm?
They pass through magical doors, created with love and a little pixie dust.
As witches specialising in magical creatures and other realms, we’ll help you create your very own Magical Fairy Door. Through it, you can whisper your most secret wishes directly to the fairies.

🌈 Paint an Enchanted Mushroom Forest
When the rain stops and a rainbow appears, our painted mushrooms come alive.
These magical shelters are home to many tiny mythical creatures, infused with rainbow-born enchantment. Now it’s your turn—paint your own enchanted mushrooms and discover which magical beings take refuge during the storm

Where there is light, there is always darkness.
At the Ministry for Magic, we honour both sides. This workshop offers a rare chance to create your own spooky miniature world inside a magical globe. Choose from a variety of eerie mini items and bring your Spooktacular creation to life

What better way to show Mum how much you love her than with something handmade and personal?
Design your own tote bag however you like—bold, colourful, magical, or heartfelt—and let your imagination run wild.

🕯️Candle Decoration Workshop

Join us for a creative and relaxing candle workshop where you’ll design and decorate your very own glass candle jar with a choice of scents available. In this session, you’ll explore a range of decorative techniques including acrylic pen artwork, vinyl decals, and resin embellishments to personalise your candle. This workshop is perfect for beginners and craft lovers alike — no prior experience needed. You’ll leave with a handcrafted candle that’s totally you.
